Postdoc/PhD position on Systems Biology of Wound Healing The group for "Systems Biology of Cell Communication and Cell Control" at the FRIAS School of Life Sciences, University of Freiburg, Germany, is inviting applications for * a Postdoc and/or PhD position on the development of multi-scale models for wound healing. The project aims at the development of data-driven mathematical models to elucidate and predict cytocine-driven cellular decisions, like proliferation, migration or death during the process of epidermal wound healing. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the framework 'Medical Systems Biology' and will be carried out in close collaboration with biologist, clinicians and further theoreticians throughout Germany. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in physics, applied mathematics, engineering or biological sciences, having demonstrated expertise in interdisciplinary research, systems biology, biophysics and/or nonlinear dynamics. Applications including a CV, previous research experience, a list of publications as well as two references should be sent via e-mail or conventional mail to Hauke Busch, Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies, Albertstra e 19, 79104 Freiburg, Germany (hauke.busch@frias.uni-freiburg.de). Applications will be assessed directly and successful candidates can start as soon as possible. ======== Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies - FRIAS School of Life Sciences - LIFENET Albert-Ludwigs-Universitt Freiburg Albertstr. 19 79104 Freiburg T.: +49-761-203-97154
